Produktbeskrivning
The first Global knife was designed in 1985 by Japanese designer Komin Yamada. With an almost limitless budget, the Yoshikin factories tasked him with developing a series of kitchen knives that would appeal to both professional chefs and home gastronomes. The results have spoken for themselves ever since - the razor-sharp blade and perfect design balance mean that Global knives are recognised and loved tools in kitchens around the world.

- Cromova 18 stainless steel
- Ergonomic handle
The knife that makes cooking a breeze:
The universal knife is made of fully moulded Cromova steel, so the transition from handle to blade is seamless. This improves hygiene in your kitchen as there is nowhere for bacteria to settle. The ergonomic handle has a good weight, a rounded edge and Global's signature pattern of small indentations, giving you a comfortable and secure grip on the knife.
What is Cromova 18 steel?
All Global knives are made from Cromova steel from the manufacturer Yoshikin. In short, it is a steel that is highly resistant to rust, stains and corrosion. But if you really want to know, Cromova stands for the composition of the steel - Chromium, Molybdenum and Vanadium. And 18 stands for the percentage of chromium. Chromium is added to increase the durability of the steel and prevent rusting.
