The knife that makes cooking effortless:
The boning knife is made from solid Cromova steel, ensuring a seamless transition from handle to blade. This enhances hygiene in your kitchen, as there are no gaps for bacteria to accumulate. The ergonomic handle has a well-balanced weight, a rounded edge, and Global’s signature pattern of small indentations, providing a comfortable and secure grip.
What is Cromova 18 steel?
All Global knives are made from Cromova steel by the manufacturer Yoshikin. In short, it is a highly durable material resistant to rust, stains, and corrosion. If you want to get technical, Cromova refers to the steel’s composition – Chromium, Molybdenum, and Vanadium. The 18 stands for the percentage of chromium, which enhances the steel’s durability and rust resistance.
World-renowned quality design:
The first Global knife was designed in 1985 by Japanese designer Komin Yamada. The goal was to create a series of kitchen knives that would appeal to both professional chefs and home cooks. The result was Global – known and loved worldwide for its razor-sharp blade and perfect balance.
