Thomas Vinterbergs Druk has wowed both reviewers and the audience.

Thomas Vinterberg has gathered the team behind The Hunt, and made a film about four high school teachers who are stuck in life. Inspired by a Norwegian philosopher and the theory that man is born with a per mille that is 0.5 percent too low, the four men decide to try an experiment: to be a bit drunk every day. In the beginning, it gives both a more free and easy life, but the shadowy sides of alcohol catch up with them slowly but surely.

Thomas Vinterberg has created a film that is both funny and serious, and he himself calls it a kind of tribute to alcohol and to life itself.
